“Plant Girl” Awarded at South Afria Film Festival

The International Film Festival of South Africa has recognized Affolter Entertainment’s short film “Plant Girl” at this year’s festival.  The short film, which has been screened at film festivals all around the world, was the recipient of this year’s ‘Best Young Filmmaker – International’ award! 

The International Film Festival of South Africa is a part of the AMRITSA network of international film festivals.  The festival runs from November 1 – 5, and this year’s venue was the elegant Howick Falls Hotel, located in Howick, Kwa Zulu Natal.  The hotel was constructed in 1872 and counts legendary writer Mark Twain among its many historically prestigious patrons.

The ‘Best Young Filmmaker – International’ award comes as both a surprise and an honor to Affolter Entertainment, and a vast thank you goes out to everyone who supported the production of “Plant Girl”.
