Animated Commercial Selected as Finalist in Competition

The annual Big Rock Brewery “Eddies” announced their selections for this year’s finalists in the commercial competition category.  We are excited to announce that Affolter Entertainment’s stop-motion animated advertisement, "Space Golf" made the cut as a finalist in the top eighteen from around Canada! 

The Big Rock Brewery “Eddies” are an annual competition held in Calgary, Alberta, for both print ads and video commercials that feature Big Rock Brewery beer.  Affolter Entertainment has confirmed they will be attending this year’s event on June 7th, 2010.

The production company previously won the Western Canadian competition (now merged with the national competition) in 2008 with their parody “Big Rock Jones,” also a stop-motion animated advertisement.  The same year Affolter Entertainment’s second entry, titled “24 Pack,” finished in second at the Western Canadian competition.  “Big Rock Jones” even went on to win third place at the nation-wide event in Calgary in 2008!
