Heath Affolter is a writer, producer and director and has been steadily working in both the commercial and independent film scene since making the move to Vancouver in 2003.  Along with being an employee of the Vancouver Film Studios, Heath is a co-founder of Affolter Entertainment, the production company he runs with his three brothers and business partner.  Upon his graduation from the Capilano University Film Centre, Heath co-produced a short film with the school as an extra-curricular project.  The film, Left to Blossom, earned Heath his first Leo award nomination in the Best Student Production category. 

Heath co-wrote the script of Affolter Entertainment’s latest endeavour, Plant Girl, as well as acting as Producer and 1st Assistant Director.  With that film in the can, he continues to focus on writing and producing as Affolter Entertainment steps toward their first feature film.
